SUMMARY

"Lady, that man Flint is lots different in a real fight - that's when he gets mean."
- Roadblock (explaining Flint to Lady Jaye)

Ripcord, Blowtorch, Gung Ho and Candy, who is in her Bongo bear suit, arrive at the Arbco Brothers Circus and are spotted by Tomax and Xamot. The twin Crimson Guard Commanders call Destro for support in capturing the Joes, but their request is denied. Therefore, the twin Cobra agents send dozens of Crimson Guards in three-piece suits into a hall of mirrors with orders to kill Ripcord, but he escape with Bongo by hiding behind mirrors and making a dash for the big-top. Wild Bill, Footloose and Flint arrive at the circus on a Dragonfly, and after Flint jumps off the Armadillo and attacks Xamot, who is on top of a rollercoaster loop, Footloose cuts the Armadillo's line and drives toward the rollercoaster to secure the area. Flint lands enough punches to Xamot's face to knock the Cobra agent down, but he remains standing while telepathically yelling for his brother's help. Tomax leaves the big-top and races to help his brother. Gung Ho and Blowtorch beat up some Cobra agents at the rollercoaster and Footloose plays "chicken" with Tomax before the Crimson Guard Commander turns, drives up a ramp and through a ring of fire in the circus. Flint then watches Tomax catch Xamot while racing through the rollercoaster's loop on his Cobra Ferret. Wild Bill chases the Crimson Guard Commanders, but they evade the Joe's missiles by entering a large drainage pipe.

Description
As Tomax grabs his throat and nearly falls to the ground, he tells Cobra Commander that his brother, Xamot, who is pounded by Bazooka's fist, is in trouble. Flint leads several Joes into battle at an amusement park, where Crimson Guards hide in the hall of mirrors and Tomax races on a Cobra Ferret toward his brother. The Joes attempt to stop Tomax as he rides on ramps and breaks through cloth walls. Tomax rescues his twin brother by riding into a loop, catching him as he falls and riding out of the Joes' attack, which dozens of Crimson Guards attempt to stop.

Lyrics
Until now Joe's had it easy,
But now it's gonna get real hard
Cobra's hired evil twin brothers
Leaders of the Crimson Guard
They're double twins so much the same
If one's in trouble the other feels pain
The Crimson Guard is the most dangerous foe
of G.I.Joe a real American hero

Notes
Considering that the Comic Crew and the Sunbow Staff did not confuse the location of the twins and the presentation of the story was fairly consistent with comic, the commercial for issue #37 was one of the better advertisements for the comic book series. The commercial also wasn't hurt by the performances of Christopher Latta (Cobra Commander) and Corey Burton (Tomax).

Scenes from the commercial were reused in the animation segments for following toy advertisement:
· Tomax and Xamot
