I wouldn’t say that dirty word if I were you, Dr. Mindbender. I’d have to wash your mouth out with soap.

SUMMARY

"Such tacky costumes!"
- The White Clown (while examining Snake Eyes' costume)

After a US astronaut finishes upgrading a satellite, the crew on the space shuttle learns that Cobra has been running a secret world-wide operation. However, thanks to Cobra satellites spying on the US satellites, Dr. Mindbender is alerted to the shuttle's discovery and immediately reports his findings to Cobra Commander and the Baroness, who are soon launched into space in a Cobra space shuttle. Meanwhile, at the Pit, the Joes detect Cobra's flight into space and Hawk orders Payload to prepare the Joes' shuttle, Defiant, and adds that he will join the party. As the Joes leave Earth, Cobra grabs the US satellite with a mechanical claw, but just as they begin to reel in the satellite, the Joes arrive, avoid Cobra's missiles, destroy the claw and then attack the shuttle. The Baroness is knocked unconscious and Fred VII, who is pretending to be Cobra Commander, takes charge and orders a status report. After ordering the adjustment to several key shuttle systems, Cobra Commander orders Scrap Iron to destroy the remaining spy satellites, which allows Cobra to continue with their Terror Drome conspiracy. Meanwhile, the Blind Master, Scarlett and Snake Eyes audition for the White Clown's circus, and after they are hired, the White Clown announces that they will soon enter Borovia.

Description
In the coldness of space, a lone member of the Joe team happily reports to General Hawk that their satellite is in place, however, Cobra Commander arrives in a Cobra shuttle, which is piloted by Crystal Ball and a Techno-Viper. After General Hawk sounds an alarm, the Defiant's gantry raises the Joes' space shuttle to an upright position and the shuttle and booster launch into space. The Defiant separates from the booster, attacks the Cobra shuttle and grabs the satellite and the captured Joe. Cobra's shuttle is then pounded by blasts from not only the Joes' shuttle but the members of the Joe team who emerge from the booster, but as the Cobra space ship is destroyed, Cobra Commander escapes and flies back to Earth. The Defiant lands on airstrip, however, two Cobra Sea Rays streak out of the sea and attack the Joe shuttle.
